Peach ice tea

  • 4 medium-sized peaches
  • 125 g sugar
  • 250 ml water
  • 3 Tea bags of black tea
  • 1,5 l hot water
  • 2 medium-sized limes
  • 2 Peaches to decorate
  • Mint to decorate
  • a few ice cubes

Steep the black tea in hot water according to the instructions on the packaging. Remove the tea bags and leave the tea to cool.

Wash the 4 peaches, remove the stones and cut into pieces. Then place the peach pieces, sugar and water in a small pan. Bring to the boil once, then reduce the heat and simmer over a medium heat for approx. 30 minutes. Then remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool.

Then pass the syrup through a sieve. Pour the syrup into the tea and stir well. Squeeze the limes and add the juice. Wash 2 peaches, remove the stones and cut into slices.

Place the peach iced tea in the fridge for a while and serve in glasses with ice cubes, fresh peach slices and mint, if desired.
